Jeff Bliss has been involved in the finance industry since 1977 having worked for the Commonwealth Bank and its merchant bank subsidiary, AEFC Limited, in their commercial lending areas, amongst other positions and as a finance broker since 1997. He formed CFG with Trevor Murdoch in September 1999.

Trevor Murdoch has been in the banking and finance industry since 1963. Trevor has extensive experience in retail, commercial and corporate lending and has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney. Trevor is a fellow of the Australian Banking and Finance and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute as well as being a Justice of the Peace since 1976. He formed CFG with Jeff Bliss in September 1999.

Graham Montgomery is a Director of CFG who has been involved in the Finance industry since 1980. Originally with CBC Bank then National Australia Bank, and holding various management positions including credit management and commercial lending roles. Graham has extensive experience in structured borrowings, construction finance and working with business clients.

David Downs is a Director of CFG who has been involved in the Finance Industry since 1972 when he joined CBC Bank. David set up his own business in Finance and Marketing in 1996 before joining CFG in 2000. Today, he provides a diversified range of commercial products, investment and residential property loans to a growing client base.

Kevin Tredinnick has been involved in the banking and finance industry since 1975. Originally with the Bank of New South Wales and then Westpac holding various positions to Branch Manager. He has successfully finance broking since leaving Westpac in November 1998. He has extensive retail lending experience and joined CFG in September 2000.

Paul Simmons has worked in the Finance Industry since November 1993. Before joining CFG, Paul worked for St George Bank as a senior commercial banking manager for 5 years. Paul also holds a degree in Economics from the Australian National University. Paul joined CFG in May 2001.

Phil Dean joined the CBA in 1968 and held several lending managerial positions until he left in 2003. He has extensive experience in both retail and commercial lending including 9 years in Business/Corporate Banking. Phil is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance and a full member of the MIAA. He joined CFG in May 2003.

Mark Toole has worked in the finance industry since 1983. Predominantly as a Relationship Manager. Mark has worked for two major Australian banks and one international merchant bank, offering both personal and business financial solutions to professionals, management and pre-management employees, self-employed business owners, small, medium and large businesses and multi-national companies. Mark has completed a Bachelor of Business, Securities Institute Diploma and a Financial Planning Diploma. Mark joined CFG in 2003.

Brett Read has a background in real estate and joined Westpac as a Lending Manager in 1997. Brett has been an independent mortgage broker since 1999 and became a member of CFG in February 2001.

David Chapman commenced in the finance industry with the National Bank of Australasia (now NAB) in 1980. He has held numerous managerial roles in Metropolitan Sydney, NSW Central Coast and the Sydney CBD assisting in both personal and commercial lending. David left the NAB in 2002 and joined CFG that year. David is located in Rozelle and is serving clients in the inner west and surrounding areas.

Richard Wellsmore has been in the finance industry since 1998. Prior to this, he established and operated businesses in the retail industry. As such he has a great affinity with self-employed clients. His expertise ranges from home or investment loans though to large commercial transactions to facilitate the purchase of hotels or commercial property. In addition he can assist with the purchase of motor vehicles and/or office equipment through leasing or commercial hire purchase. His specialty is asset base development through wise and prudent financial provision.

Catherine Ryan Before joining CFG in 2004, Catherine held managerial roles in personal, business and corporate banking. She has a degree in economics and 15 years' experience in the finance industry. Working for Westpac, the Bank of New Zealand and NAB has enabled Catherine to build a thorough knowledge of the lending process. As a finance broker she is committed to assist in finding individuals the most suitable loan for their circumstances.
